Herman's Amazing Hair Color in Lydias Lavender is a soft, pastel vibe, the perfect mix of grunge and glamour. This hair dye nourishes like a deep conditioner while you colour. For best results, apply to hair bleached to a level 10 blonde. If your hair is too yellow, use purple or blue toner / shampoo to help neutralize the yellow, this is important for violet hair colours so the yellowness won't turn the violet into brown or ashy brown.

Tip: Lydia Lavender can be tricky for people who don't know how light or dark they want their violet. If you want the colour on the label, leave it on no longer than 2 hours, leave it on longer if you want a stronger more intense result, or for somethig lighter, leave it on for an hour.

This brand has some fab colours advertised, I purchased a couple of these as my usual brand colour was sold out. This is a pretty colour, took well over an existing light purple (another brand), but didn’t take well at the roots. I applied it twice in 3 days, as I was preparing my hair prior to an event - and didn’t notice any visible difference after the second application. Probably wouldn’t buy this again.
