Hair not pre-lightened prior to application, wow!

Was really impressed with the results! I wanted to see what the colour would be like on hair that had not been lightened prior to application, even with my hair being a light/medium caramel colour it worked fantastic.

Wow!

I've been using Directions for nearly 30 years but after going with green again for the first time in 25 years or so, I found that the formula had changed and the outcome was a bit meh. So I bit the bullet and bought some other greens, including Punky in Apple Green. The smell is a bit bubblegummy ( = not pleasant to me) but holy shit, the colour is intense and wonderful!

I only needed about half the pottle for my medium length hair, and the outcome burns itself into the retina. I think I might stick with this one for a bit - can't wait to try other hues.
