Ultra Violet is a super cool, blue-toned violet dye. For the most vibrant results, we recommend lightening hair to a very light level 9 blonde or lighter before use.

Lovely Color, just what I wanted.
The color is lovely but not what I was expecting. It's more of a electric blue than violet. And I had to apply it twice to get the color to take to my hair, which I haven't had to do with MP's other colors.
After using this product twice on my hair on two separate occasions I can confirm unless your hair is a level 9-10 you won’t accomplish a vibrant even colour. The first time I applied this to almost white hair with patchy results and it washed out way to fast! 1-2 weeks. Second time it has just left the underside of my hair I used it on very patchy and uneven and it appears almost transparent in some areas really thankful I had a back up colour (lunar tides nightshade) to cover the top half of my hair and make it look half decent

Super pigmented! Also love how long it lasts!
I use this as a toner as well only need a tiny bit with conditioner and it works well!
Usually only use pravana in my hair but tried manic panic because its "curly girl approved" and I think I'm converted. EXTREMELY versatile colour it was even effective as a semi perm (diluted of course) emergency toner when my 15 year old decided to try "touch up his roots" and left himself hot rooted and "tiger striped" 😆. Beautiful colour saturation
