Dark Tulip

Love the dark tulip...i have found that as I'm quite grey in the front it's hard to cover. But the la riche dyes cover and stay put for a few washes. I love that I get to try some zany colours too! The dark tulip is quite dark and natural looking ish! It is fading out quite nicely though down to a copper auban colour.

Super vibrant colour, ended up even more vibrant than we were expecting which was a great surprise :)

Lovely colour, I mixed mine with pillar box red to get a dark red colour and am very impressed with it (recommend this mix over Lunar Tides Blood Red if you're wanting a dark red like I was going for as this worked out alot darker)

Hi there, my review refers to the product. Sinister Boutique is always efficient and spectacular to deal with and delivers very fast. They are a great service. 😊 Note: I have grey hair so have to leave coloured hair dyes on my hair longer than average if I want them to fully cover my grey and to provide really saturated colour (regardless of the brand this seems to take about 6 hours for me). I'd tried a previous purple from L:a Riche Directions (Plum) and while I loved the colour, I had loads of transfer/bleeding. I have since found out that all the purples from this brand have transfer but that the Plum is the worst. Due to knowing about the transfer, this time after rinsing off the dye, I immediately put a vinegar rinse through my hair (1 part white vinegar to 1 part water) and left it on for c. 5 minutes before rinsing my hair with water again. This prevented most transfer with this dye. It's a great colour, it's easy to put on and it very much has covered my grey and from my previous experience with the Plum, I know it will be long lasting. I am very, very happy with the result. (The vinegar rinse is definitely worth trying to prevent transfer.) This dye is absolutely one of my favourites so far (and I've been experimenting for a while).
