I bought this, wanting to try out a local colour, and was pretty keen on how it looks in the pictures provided online, like the strand shown next to the tube in the picture above and the image with the swatches.
When I received the tube, the colour looked less vibrant with more of a brunette tinge to it, and not like the orange on the tube pictured, which threw me, but I thought, hey try anyway!
I'm mid-blonde, my hair bleaches to a white, and hair colours turn out very vibrant on me, i.e. best-case-scenario styles colour, plus, I've been dyeing my hair in brights since I was 13, which is exactly 30 years now.
The colour ended up being much more muted than in the picture, which is a real shame. I don't mind a peach or pastell, but this sort of looks like bleaching your hair for the first time with dark hair and not knowing how to fight the brassy tones - not a super colour.
Will put some Punky yellow on top in the next few days, maybe brighten it up - hopefully the mix will end up nicer than *this*.
