I bleached my hair then used the dye the same night. The color covered well and looks amazing. very happy.
Love this product it works well with my hair very bright and beautiful.
Seriously though I usually buy directions dye but thought I'd give this brand a try. Pigment wise it's just as strong of an immediate colour though more true/darker stain. 2 washes later using regular shampoo and conditioner it hasn't faded at all. (Manic panic is dull in 1, directions very slight fade after 2 but noticeable after 3-4) If you change colours dramatically every few months this will not be the brand for you but if you plan to stick to 1 colour for 3-6mths or more or intend to bleach before your next colour this is the brand for you.
